Marcie Munnerlyn began her early dance training in the Pacific Northwest at Jefferson High School of the Performing Arts, Oregon Ballet Theatre School and Cornish College of the Arts. Her career as a company member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company spanned 8 years, concluding in 2011 with the company's final Legacy Tour. Since departing from full time performing Marcie has completed her 200 hour Power Yoga teaching certification and is a Balanced Body certified pilates instructor. She has been awarded Merce Cunningham Fellowships for 2015 and 2018. Currently, Marcie is living in Honolulu, HI teaching and working as development associate at Ballet Hawaii.
