Dromenon

The program note for "Dromenon" read: "The dance concerns a number of women, their joining together for the purpose of evoking a spirit, its presence among them and the consequent action." Cunningham designed the women's costumes, which included headdresses of pine branches gathered by John Cage. Cunningham's costume, designed by the painter Sonja Sekula, was later used for the 1975 dance "Solo."
