Open Session

“Open Session” was a solo done in silence. According to Carolyn Brown, Cunningham sat in a chair, drank a can of beer, wiped his hands on paper towels and dropped them in a waste-barrel. In between these actions, he danced “like a possessed demon or mad-man.” The solo was given one time only.
