Documentary that explores the work renowned and controversial work of Cunningham through extensive interviews with Merce Cunningham, Carolyn Brown, Karole Armitage, Chris Komar; along with excerpts from"Travelogue", "Squaregame," and "Exchange." An exubertant summing up of Cunningham's philosophy: "Dancing having to represent something, doesn't mean anything to me. Dance is simply a marvelous situation. . . It all sounds so cerebral, but to me it's more enchantment - like an enchanted forest full opf different thing."
